Description

The small, modest village Prinos is well away from touristic hotspots, approx. 2km further inland and 14 km east of Rethimno. It is a typical Cretan village with traditional houses and small alleys set in a quiet and romantic surrounding with olive groves and vine yards. The holiday house Prinos with is located on a large enclosed and well-maintained garden property. In direct vicinity is the property of the villa Elya that is also let to guests. The distance between the holiday houses is approx. 35m. The gardens are separated by a nice stone wall that also gives sight protection.

The holiday house Prinos is enclosed by a large wall and set in a quiet side alley of the village. Access to the property is through a gate. The nicely renovated, freestanding Cretan farm house with pool is tastefully furnished and provides a cultivated atmosphere to help you forget about everyday stress. In the large and wonderfully green garden with Mediterranean flowers and trees you can relax and enjoy a splash in the large pool or the simply relax on the sun terrace. On two floors the holiday house provides everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The high ceilings on the first floor and the combination of stone and wood add a touch of individual comfort to the interior. On the ground floor the interior is more modern and kept in pastel shades. The living room and dining area is on the first floor. Just two steps below the living room is the adjoining open kitchen with direct access to a terrace with a view of the village. An external staircase from the living room leads to the courtyard, garden and pool. An internal staircase leads to the ground floor of the holiday house. Three bedrooms and the shared bath, which was fully renovated in 2015, are on the ground floor. 2 of the bedrooms have a separate entry from outside and direct access to the courtyard terrace, the garden and the pool. A small hallway with a separate outside entrance to the courtyard is connected to the third, middle bedroom. The secluded courtyard with terrace and rustic, bricked ovens invite you to dine in private atmosphere. The 50sqm pool (5 x 10m, 0,70 to 1,4m deep, not heated, in operation from 1.05.-31.10.) is ideal for swimming or a refreshing splash for both children and adults.

The nearby town of Rethimno with its extensive promenade is ideal for a stroll. The small, picturesque Venetian harbour with its row upon row of tavernas and small boats is, if a little touristy, very atmospheric and enchanting. The pedestrian zone in the old town centre with its pretty narrow streets and traditional old houses is ideal for shopping and chic nights out. The 10 kilometres of sandy beaches that stretch along this stretch of coast from Rethimno to the north-east offer plenty of choice, with beach bars and natural beaches.

Ein sehr schönes, gepflegtes Feriendomizil in ruhiger Lage mit kurzen Wegen zum Meer. Die nahegelgene Hafenstadt Rethymnon hat ein besonderes Flair. Haus und Garten bieten viel Platz zum Entspannen. Der Pool ist von exotischen Pflanzen eingefasst und macht Spass. Ein Gärtner kümmert sich nach meinen Beobachtungen fast täglich um die Anlage. Großes Lob auch für Jan, der sich schnell meldet, wenn es Fragen gibt. Kommunikation auf Deutsch ist kein Problem.

Alles wirklich Top - vom Buchungsprozess hin über die Informationen vor der Anreise sowie dem Empfang vor Ort. Das Haus war absolut wie beschrieben, schöner Poolbereich, alles Biltzsauber und gut ausgestattet.

Ein Bijou von einem Haus, gut ausgerüstet, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt. Wunderschönes abgeschlossenes Grundstück mit schön angelegtem Garten, natürlichem Schattenplatz, sauberem Swimmingpool mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen, alles sehr gut gewartet - und bessere Vermieter kann man sich nicht wünschen!

Deutschsprachige Vermieter hatten uns einen sehr netten Empfang bereitet. Im Haus warteten bereits Äpfel, Weintrauben, Kekse, eine Flasche Wasser und eine Flasche Wein auf uns. Sehr sauber gehaltene Räume. Die Innenräume sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Gartenanlage wird regelmäßig gepflegt und sieht sehr schön aus. Der Pool ist einfach super und wird mindestens zwei Mal in der Woche gepflegt. Es war eine wunderschöne Woche auf Kreta.

Das Haus, der Garten und der Pool sind super gepflegt und laden zum Wohlfühlen ein. Es ist alles vorhanden, die Fürsorge der Vermieter ist begleitend und dezent. Sie sind sehr achtsam und möchten, dass sich der Urlauber/Mieter Wohl fühlt.

wer absolute Ruhe sucht, ist dieses Ferienhaus optimal. Wunderschön gepflegter Garten....Hausbesitzer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger Nachteil in der Dusche im Erdgeschoß extrem modriger Geruch....Toilettpapier war nach zwei Tagen aus und wurde auch nicht erneuert....wurde halt privat gekauft....

Vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Wir werden den Vermetier bitten die Dusche im EG zu überprüfen. Toilettenpapier gehört - wie angegeben - nicht zur Ausstattung und wird von den Gästen selbst gekauft.

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Unsere Kinder hatten viel Spass im Pool und ausreichend Platz zum Spielen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die wöchentliche Reinigung war auch sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Urlaub genossen.

Wir hatten 2 wundervolle Setemberwochen im Haus Prinos verbracht. Da Haus ist groß und gut eingerichtet, der Garten sehr schön gestaltet. Die Terrasse am Grill und den Pool haben wir besonders genossen. Ein Ferienhaus zum Erholen, können wir nur empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Ganz nettes Ferienhaus, jedoch im Vergleich zum Ferienhaus Askos auf Zakynthos (4 Sterne) seine 5 Sterne nicht wert. Es mangelte an Kochgeschirr und es gab weder die beschriebene Taverne, noch die Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der Nähe. Auch der Inneneinrichtung merkte man die Zeit an. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr freundlich und Lage absolut ruhig.

Die Vermieter haben die Küchenaustattung überprüft und ergänzt. Sollte vor Ort etwas fehlen, bitte kurz melden, damit sofort Ersatz zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Das Haus ist mit 4 Blumen klassifiziert (hier lag ein Fehler vor).
